Extra LSR: My Favorite Accessories.

These accessories are on major repeat, always.

I have a lot of accessories, I’ll admit this right away. I hoard sunglasses like you wouldn’t believe and have more jewelry than I know what to do with. But there are a few much-loved faves that rise to the top of this accessories mountain, working their way into the heavy rotation and becoming staples. I’ve gathered them all here + linked to posts featuring them (so you can see ’em in action).

Sunglasses clockwise l-r: Ray-Ban rounds in green + gold // Quay High Key Fades in black smoke // Le Specs The Prince // Ray-Ban 55mm aviators in green + gold // Ray-Ban 55mm aviators in red flash (the current version is a 58mm in orange flash; if you want something more on the pink side, try these 59mm Highstreets in brown + pink)

Sunglasses are a security blanket for me (my About page will attest to this); I’m rarely without a pair. Ray-Ban is my go-to, but recently Quay and Le Specs have been in the mix. I adore my classic Ray-Ban green + gold aviators so much, I’ve partially worn the logo off the lens. (I’m on my third pair – lost the first on a lake trip, and the second at a festival; both times I hit Nordie’s the very next day to repurchase.) I prefer the 55mm (because I have a small-ish face), but if you want something oversized you can get the 58 or the 65mm. When I travel, I bring these bad boys. They go with everything and are a classic, so you can’t go wrong. You can see me rocking the Ray-Ban green + gold aviators here, here, and here; the red aviators here and here.

The Ray-Ban round sunnies are a newer addition; with the resurgence of round lenses, I had to have these. I love the retro vibe they give a look– depending on what you’re wearing, they lend either a 90s or a 70s vibe. See ’em here and here.

The Quay High Key Fades are so slick; the lens gradient just looks really cool. And they’re the cheapest of the bunch. (Bonus!) See ’em on me here, here, and here.

I love how dark the lenses are on the Le Specs The Prince. These are my current everyday go-to’s. More looks featuring these oversized aviators here, here, and here.

Left to right: Maya Brenner initial necklace (more affordable option here) // Etsy double horn necklace (only $22! Similar here) // Etsy initial necklace (under $20!) // Gorjana choker // Kendra Scott necklace (this season’s version here, and also love this one)

My necklace game has been on the delicate side as of late. I like light + airy pieces that can be layered or worn alone, and that won’t weigh down my look. (This becomes especially important in the spring + summer when the KC humidity makes a heavy statement necklace unbearable.)

You’ve seen this double horn necklace many times; I love the cool boho feel it gives a look. See it here and here.

I snagged this large initial necklace over the Christmas holiday, and I love that it is both bold without being heavy-handed. I do love an initial necklace. See it here. This smaller Maya Brenner is an investment piece, but the tiny delicate initial laid in line with the chain is really cool.

Chokers are back! This Gorjana choker is perfect; I love Gorjana because it’s quality for a reasonable price. Gorjana pieces will last you years and years, so the cost-per-wear is totally doable. See it here.

I have several Kendra Scott Rayne necklaces– a girl needs her Kendra Scott!– but this white howlite silver version is my all-time fave. They don’t make this exact version anymore, but this one gives the same bright + white vibe. See it here and here.

Left to right: Gorjana set // Etsy double-finger name ring // My mom’s wedding ring (real gold option here and affordable option here)

Rings are always the last thing I put on; I’ll grab from a ring dish on my accessories vanity and mix and match. I love this Gorjana set; it breaks up nicely, too. See it here.

I’ve had this double-finger name ring for ages; you can still get it here. I love the tough element it lends a look– almost like a brass knuckle version of your name.

My mom’s ring size changed after she had me and my sister, so her original wedding band no longer fit. I discovered this in college and knicked it (with her permission), and now I wear it all the time. Not only does it vibe with my simple + dainty aesthetic, but it’s a sweet reminder of my parents every time I slip it on. You can get a real gold version here or an affordable version here. Such a pretty ring to layer!

Clockwise top to bottom: Sugarfix front-facing hoop earrings // Sugarfix double horn earrings (similar here and here) // Garmin smartwatch

I wear this Garmin smartwatch nonstop. It’s my everyday watch, not only because it’s beautiful, but because it also tracks my steps, calories, sleep, and stress. I can get texts, emails, and weather notifications as well. (If you tap the bottom of the watch face, it wakes up a digital screen!) You can see it as part of almost all my outfit posts, including here, here, and here.

I have my ears double-pierced in one ear, and triple pierced in another. I keep tiny dainty gold and rose gold hoops in the second and third holes, and recently have been rotating these gorgeous Sugarfix by BaubleBar earrings into the main holes. They are super affordable and gorgeous. See the hammered double horn earrings here and the front-facing hoops here.

    1. I like dainty rings that don’t get in the way- that can def be an issue if you had to wear gloves! And sunnies are such a key part of my aesthetic (and a major security blanket, lol). 🙂

  3. Over the past few years, I’ve gotten really into dainty jewelry. I am loving your necklaces and earrings. I need to wear my pieces more often. But I’ll never leave the house without a pair of sunnies. Those are definitely a go-to for me.

    1. I feel naked without my sunnies, no joke. And isn’t the smartwatch cool af? I get so many compliments on it- and people are super surprised when I wake up the hidden screen and show them everything it can do!

  4. All great essentials! I really need new sunglasses. I used to have several pairs, and now I only have one scratched pair.

  5. I need another pair of sunnies. You have a great collection. I also love your initial necklace. I have been more about simple necklaces lately, too. Because of the humidity and also just because I’m always so active during the day.

  6. OMG I need it all!! I would love a ring that said “evolve with Mary” that would be great. Ohhh I also love your A necklace, I’m going to order a few things right now. Thank you for always keeping me cute. I still get tons of compliments on that Pink “Boss Lady” Jacket you featured last year. 🙂

    1. That would be an AWESOME ring- you should totally do it! 🙂

And I’m so glad you snagged that Boss Lady jacket- that reminds me, I need to break that bad boy out again!

  8. When I think of you, I think of sunglasses ’cause you rock them so well. You have a good sense of what works for you, accessory-wise.

  9. I am such an accessory hoarder too! It is funny though that, with as much as I have I do gravitate towards a handful and just wear them on repeat! I love that initial necklace! I think I need to add one to my collection, and that garmin smart watch is so darn cute.
