Olive Green Linen Pants + Oversized Jean Jacket.

More wide leg action in olive green linen pants.

I am digging the return of wide-leg trousers. These olive green linen pants were a VICI score (still available in size large; I also love these) and work really well with a cropped tee to show off the tie feature at the waist. Because I have short legs, a pair of flatform sandals help elongate things. An oversized jean jacket (scored from the men’s section at H&M, I’m wearing a small) topped the look off, adding a bit of coverage and edge.

Because I’m on the shorter side, a sandal with some height is the key to pulling off these olive green linen pants. Short girls: you can wear maxi skirts and mega trousers like these, the secret is finding a shoe with enough of a heel (or wedge) to lengthen + balance so the piece doesn’t overwhelm your frame.

I cannot believe we’re in the middle of May– and KC seems to have skipped straight from winter to summer; I swear, spring weather was only here for a few days before it got super hot.

  1. Such a comfortable looking outfit! I’m staying away from maxi skirts/dresses but you’re right, I could pull them off by wearing heels or wedges.

  2. I always found wide leg trousers intimidating but I love yours – the tie waist really helps reclaim your waistline and looks super chic!

  3. You and me both girl! Love this silhouette and these olive pants are adorable – you’ll be able to wear them into the fall as well!
