Midi Skirt + Zara Pumps.

I was a little hesitant to try the midi skirt at first– I’m only 5’5, which means this girl accepts sometimes she’s not tall enough to pull off every trend.

But you never know until you try, so I found this ASOS skirt and pulled the trigger. Great weight– it has a bit of heft to it, which will keep the skirt from blowing up over my head on blustery Kansas City afternoons. It also has a lovely twirl-factor and pockets. Instant fan, right here. Trying it on allowed me to immediately determine I wasn’t a midi-skirt-and-flats kind of girl. Being 5’5 strikes again. Pumps it is!

Tucked a simple white v-neck into the skirt, cinched it with a mint-colored patent belt, and broke in my new bright coral Zara pumps.

  1. You look so pretty and girly here, Ashley. Definitely a cool change from how tough and edgy your looks can be- so lucky you can rock both! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ <3

  2. You are so cute and I just love this skirt. I don’t know if I’m brave enough to wear something this full, but it looks so pretty on you!

  3. You totally pulled this off! I love the earrings you choose, too! The shoes and earrings are great pops of color! Have fun at Go Blog Social!

  4. It’s gorgeous on you! I think you def found your perfect midi! So jealous! I’m barely 5’2″ so I’m ridiculously squeamish about the midi! I shall live vicariously through you!

  5. First of all, I want to go to Go Blog Social too!! Take me with you. Next, I am obsessed with midi skirts. Love love them. And this one is fabulous. Love those red heels!
