Slouchy + soft olive green overalls for spring.

I’m seeing overalls popping up more and more lately, which I really dig because I’m a longtime fan. I was browsing the racks at Kindred recently and spotted these slouchy olive green overalls– hello, there! The lightweight lyocell material is perfect for warm weather outfitting; it moves, breathes, and doesn’t wrinkle easily.

I brought these overalls home with me, styling them here with a tan crop top (I swear, I’m wearing a shirt; I just happen to be almost the same color as the shirt, ha) and snakeskin ankle booties. Snakeskin is a key print for me (and the world) right now, and these booties are just as comfy as they are cute.

What I love about these olive green overalls most is how versatile they will be. I’m wearing ’em here pretty bare bones, but they will layer nicely with a denim (or leather) jacket, a blazer + lightweight turtleneck at the office, and can be dressed up with a sleek pump. I want to try them with a printed blouse, or on a cooler spring day with a lightweight sweater. Lots of options, which make them a great addition to the closet.

This shell necklace from Shashi is another must-have for spring. Shells are back, baby! What I love about this piece is that it works for daily wear but still makes a statement. I get asked about it every time I have it on– and it’s under $60! I wear it alone like you see here and also layered with a few other dainty gold necklaces for a bigger punch.
