A chic camo jacket for easy early winter layering.
My jacket fetish is pretty well documented around here. I wear ’em all year round, indoors and out, to casual and more formal events. (If you think I won’t put a leather jacket over the top of a ball gown, you’re wrong.) So this camo jacket from Liverpool LA was a nice addition to the collection with its bomber-style and wear-anywhere weight. Perfect with a camisole and black leggings for a night out, don’t you think?
Don’t sleep on these leggings (also from Liverpool): the subtle snakeskin print is very on-trend and the style is way chicer than your standard black off-to-the-gym legging. I wore ’em with a taller ankle boot (an old Zara fave, but I love these and these) to keep the look on the dressier side. The waist is high, the fit is lovely, and they don’t bag out throughout the day. Major score.
Shop the look:
While the look is predominately dark, I love the subtle mixes of prints and textures. A camo print here, a snakeskin motif there. Lace, leather, and silk. A pair of slick, no-nonsense modern boot with a textured legging. It all comes together nicely!
Sizing notes: the jacket fits true to size and the leggings run a bit big. I would size down one size for the best fit.
