One of my favorite parts of summer is just how easy it can be to get ready. “Throw on a dress and go” is the vibe! This yellow floral skater dress is a super cute number I scored at H&M years ago (found similar versions that get you the look here and here) and provides a big punch of color and a pretty print, all in one lightweight piece. Honestly, that’s really all you need to achieve summer outfit success.

I brought out the tones in the floral print with a pink and orange sandal. I’ve had these wedges for ages– back when VS sold shoes! (And clothes! What a time to be alive.) They’re classics. But you could easily wear a neutral sandal (either a wedge or something flat) and still be in style. A printed dress like this just does all the fashion heavy-lifting for you!

The jewelry you know quite well because I’ve been wearing pretty much the same set all summer: some layered necklaces, vintage pieces from my Grandma’s collection (don’t worry, sourced you similars below), and those Amazon hoop earrings I routinely rave about.

I like easy pieces like this yellow floral skater dress because they take a lot of the guesswork out of outfitting. They’re also perfect for layering– throw on an oversized jean jacket for a street style vibe, a white blazer to dress it up, or a summer sweater over the top for a fresh-off-the-beach feel.

    1. I had soooo much stuff from VS back in the day! Their work wear line was really chic- so many of my office clothes were from VS when I graduated college and started working!

My passion is heels so the less I have to think about putting a look together, the better. I like to “throw on a dress and go” as you mentioned. Love the floral dress and those classic wedges.   37. Love, love, love. That punch of color is just so sunny and bright, how can one not feel happy looking at it. I also love that it’s something that you’ve had in your closet for years and it still makes you feel fantastic. Those are the best pieces.
