Go big or go home.

It’s a good motto, especially when it comes to scarves. I’m talking huge, wrap-around-you-four-times, basically-wearing-a-blanket type scarves. Monster scarves, Godzilla scarves. Not only is this super cozy, but has a nice style pay-off.

That is what I asked for as a Valentine’s present, by the way: a new scarf. The bigger, the better. Since we won’t be out of the cold anytime soon, I might as well stock up.

Building an outfit around a monster scarf is easy: stick with the basics, and maybe grab a tough shoe. I wore simple skinnies, a white dolman tee, and a pair of combat boots with this gorgeous bright blue scarf over the weekend.

  7. A monster scarf is just what I need – I was actually just thinking about this the other day. I have a few that are just a tad too short/small and a few that are slightly annoying – too big to just drape and too short to wrap around several times. Yours is perfect.

  11. I am such a mess when it comes to styling massive scarves. I know that they are supposed to keep you warm but I just basically want to curl up in them and take a nap instead of actually wearing it. So kudos to you for nailing it!

    1. My office is always cold, too! I have a space heater under my desk to keep me from freezing to death- and wrapping up in scarves like these def helps!
