An athleisure steal: these Amazon leggings are legit.

I’m always looking for cute leggings– a girl can’t really have enough, in my opinion. With athleisure being firmly rooted in the style scape, a good pair of leggings can translate to so many looks (both in the gym and outside it). I ordered these Amazon leggings last month because you really can’t beat a $25 price tag. Lo and behold: I love ’em!

First of all, they’re super high-waisted, which is a big fat yes, please from yours truly. You can keep your low-rise anything, thanks very much. The higher, the better. The color selection is really nice– 20+ colors!– but I went with the cherry truffle color because I’m into everything mauve-y pink right now. The fit is really good; I nabbed a small and like how they hold you in without being overly restrictive. I will most definitely be buying these in other colors!

I paired the leggings with an oversized terry cloth sweatshirt (Kansas City, represent!) and a blush pink teddy bear coat (also a serious steal at under $35 and a ton of color choices). So easy, so comfy– which is all I’m honestly craving right now in this endless winter weather.

Completely obvious statement: I am so over winter. (Me and the rest of the Midwest, right?) It feels so much longer than years past, and with the repeated bouts of snow and/or ice every few days, I almost don’t remember what it’s like to leave the house not swaddled in all the teddy bear, sherpa, and snuggly things.

It’s March, so hopefully there’s a spring-colored light at the end of the tunnel. Kansas City is known for random snowy springs, though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we got a taste of spring weather only to have a few April snowstorms knock us back to reality. 15 days until spring starts– so let’s just cross our fingers things thaw out soon!

  20. I am SO over winter too!! The snow this past weekend was enough!!! I love the color of these leggings and Amazon has really upped their fashion game! That shade of pink with the teddy coat goes perfectly with them.

  22. Giiiiirl! I am so over winter I just can’t deal! Yesterday when I woke up and saw it said 5 degrees, I literally contemplated going back to bed lol:)
