Cozy Sherpa Pullover + Winter Boots.

Going the cozy route in a sherpa pullover.

What good is winter if you can’t just bundle up in all the soft + cozy things, like a sherpa pullover (almost exact here) with a blush scarf, hat, and glove trio? I’m also digging these winter boots from Sam Edelman– check out that fur trim! That’s some 2008 Flo Rida business right there. Both sherpa and faux fur details are everywhere these days, which makes for quite the snuggly ensembles. I love adding texture to a fairly simple look; for example, at its core, this outfit is just a sweatshirt and jeans. The texture and color play add some interest while keeping you warm.

And if you thought blush (aka Millenial Pink) was just a warm-weather hue, think again! I love this scarf from H&M (it’s the softest thing ever and such a steal) and love the way it compliments the gloves + hat. Just a little bit girly on a blustery winter day!

Shop the look:

Speaking of the move, we had such a productive first weekend. Two trips with a U-Haul on Friday, then we unloaded the POD we packed up before Thanksgiving on Saturday. It was a marathon 4 days– we worked pretty much from sun up to sun down and were completely exhausted by the time Monday rolled around. But save a few stragglers, we have all the boxes unpacked and all the major rooms are set. Tweaks will happen (I will be tinkering with the second and third bedrooms I converted into closets for ages), but achieving Unboxed Status is huge! I am particularly in love with the living room (see it here!) because it’s such a drastic change from our previous space. So big, open, and bright. The new house is crushing the natural light game and I’m totally here for it.

I’ll be living in leggings and cozy pieces like the sherpa pullover this weekend, too, when I tackle a few finer-tuned projects at the house. My goals are to set up my office (right now it’s a staging area holding random decor bits and things I haven’t found homes for yet), build some shelves for the accessories closet, and get my coat/jacket situation sorted. It’s an aggressive list, but I think I can do it– especially if I don’t sleep. 😉
