Summer Orange Sweater + New Boyfriends.

Welcome to June! We’re still a bit cool here in KC, so I’m kicking off the month in this summer orange sweater and super slouchy + destroyed jeans. Digging the sweater’s color, deep V, and shorter hem. These bagged-out boyfriend jeans are beyond comfortable, and definitely cute enough to wear out with a little cuff + pair of blue suede pumps. Both the sweater and jeans are H&M, so I was out the door with this outfit for under $75.

I’m like a raccoon to shiny objects when it comes to corals + oranges (especially May through August), so this summer orange sweater was destined to live in my closet.

I keep a few of my lightweight sweaters out for the spring and summer; they make great layering pieces for rainy days or summer nights when the temperature drops a bit. Also down for the vibe they give a pair of cutoff shorts– beach bonfire chic.

  6. I have been trying to incorporate more orange into my wardrobe, and this sweater would be a great place t start. I love the shorter hem, and it’s such a pretty shade of coral.

  30. You found the PERFECT spring sweater–I love the bright color and slouchy cut. I think we’re going to get a warm-up soon, but that sweater would still be great for my over-AC’ed office!

  49. Ok, so this is the first outfit you’ve worn that I wouldn’t even ATTEMPT to pull off. Hahaha, you look amazing! The bra from KCFW? Sure. Orange… maybe not for me. You know this. It would be full pumpkin if I tried it with my hair. 😉 You, however, look lovely. And those shoes, let’s talk about my love for a blue suede shoe. SO CUTE!
