A pair of striped palazzo pants and a blazer have me feeling like fall.

I’m feeling like fall! The temperatures are crisper here in KC now that September is behind us. I’m dipping back into my blazer collection for the latest issue of Kansas City Homes & Style, pairing a navy number with some striped palazzo pants. And ankle boots! I’ve missed my ankle boot collection, what with summer being super hot and me working at home where I’m barefoot most of the time (if I’m honest).
October outfitting tip: deepen the hues, but don’t get too heavy in the fabric department until it really cools off. This is why I love a blazer. It acts like a jacket on mild days but adds polish to any look. I layered it over a silky camisole bodysuit, topped with lots of gold accents, and slipped into a pair of warm-toned leather ankle boots. Suddenly, I’m ready for autumn.

I love a bodysuit like this because it’ll remix nicely with jeans as the weather continues to cool down. (See how that looks here.) I will also be adding these ankle boots to floaty floral dresses to make ’em for fall-friendly.
