Staying Warm + Stylish in a Statement Coat with KC Homes & Style.

A statement coat keeps things cozy in January.

January typically means KC is an actual frozen tundra. How does one stay stylish in the depths of winter? A statement coat! This faux fur version is a steal at just over $100 and is such a great addition to your cold-weather closet. I’ve had it for several seasons and it seriously does its job while also keeping me on-trend.

Like any good piece of outerwear, you can throw this coat on over just about anything. I’m styling it more casually here with a striped sweater, classic 501s, and a matching pair of ankle booties.

You can find this look in the January/February issue of KC Homes & Style. You can find my article right here and the full digital edition here. Curious about last month’s issue? Find all the info in this post. Happy reading!

    1. Thanks, Jill! I actually find myself wearing it around the house sometimes on really cold days because it’s so WARM AND SOFT! πŸ™‚

    1. KC can get pretty cold- thankfully, it doesn’t last for months and months at a time. We’ll have a week or so when we’re in the single digits/teens, then we’ll be back up in the 20s and 30s. But coats like this make those cold spells so much more bearable! πŸ™‚

  1. That is such a dreamy coat – I love the color and it looks so comfy and cozy. I need more statement coats like this in my closet, especially when you consider it’s basically warm coat weather from September to April in my area.
