Navy is an all-year neutral for me. It obviously works with darker colors we associate with fall + winter, but also looks pretty sharp against bright white come spring and summer. How I’m wearing it today: in the form of a utilitarian shirt dress with a killer watercolor floral scarf and nude pumps.

The shirt dress was a must-by on a recent H&M visit. I loved the slouch, the minimalist navy-and-nothing-else, and the way the crepe material moved. Looping on a gorgeous scarf brought some color to the look for an extra touch.

  20. Navy is one of my favorite neutrals as well. Not quite as harsh as black, but still works with every color under the sun, and definitely great for styling year round. Fabulous find!
