Chambray, all day. A heavily embroidered JCrew denim tunic feels pretty cool with faux leather leggings + taupe suede booties. There was something about the relaxed nature of the tunic that made me reach for something tougher– we meet again, leather leggings. (I sure am wearing this trend a lot lately. Whatever.) Sure, the tunic is a bit granola and might qualify me for yoga retreat in the mountains, but I’m totally there if it’s sponsored by JCrew.

These booties are about a million years old, but I adore them. They work with so many different outfits (including my KCFW 2014 ensemble, aka the Cosby sweater set). I make sure to give the suede a good scrubbing every so often (taupe can be a nightmare) to ensure they’ll last another season.

  36. I wear my leather leggings way more than I should. Sometimes, I actually have to make myself take them off and put on my black pants. I am in love with your tunic, it’s super cute and you styled it perfect with your leggings. Adorable as always! Your shopbop picks are wonderful, so excited for this sale!
