I am so Bob Ross here, right? White flares, a floaty denim top, round sunglasses, a neckerchief… Happy little trees, guys. In case you thought I was a full-stop 90s girl (exhibits A, B, and C), I’d like to present the case for 70s style. Love the swing of this top, which combines the right amount of cleavage with some volume. This balances keeps you from from venturing into either extreme: too much skin or sister wife territory. The white flares are a fun summer denim option; I kept from swimming in these guys by grabbing a pair of white sandals (bonus: I look wayyyy taller than my usual 5 feet, 5 inches). Groovy.
Heels are totally the best! I’m 5’5″ also and when I try and wear flowy pieces, I feel like heels help elongate my legs and balance everything out nicely. I’m totally on board the chambray and white skinnies train. This outfit it 70’s perfection and I think you’ve avoided the sister wives style. 🙂
