Bright Blue High-Low Dress + Tie-Dye Heels.

Nothing says summer quite like this blue high-low dress.

Sumer Outfit: Blue High-Low Dress. | LSRI have really been on a dress kick, am I right? I guess I was more ready to dress up than I thought! But really, who can resist this blue? Reminds me of Greece. And a high-low dress this dramatic just seemed too fun to pass up.

I have a ton of summer dresses, but I don’t have one with this cool of a cut. The floaty sleeves, the seams along the sides that give it some shape, and the fun hemline– they all add up to something really fun for summer events or a tropical vacation. (Are people taking those yet?) I can’t seem to find this dress in stock online, but try this dress if you’re vibing the color and this dress if you’re feeling the high-low style. I’ll keep you posted if the dress restocks, too.

I’ve had these tie-dye heels in my closet forever (most famously wore them for my Marie Claire shoot ages ago) but you can score current versions here and here. The rest of the look was my usual smattering of gold jewelry and these lightweight hoops I wear constantly. Super heavy earrings aren’t my thing always, but especially in the hot + humid KC summers.

I have no idea where I’ll actually wear this dress– vacations aren’t on the calendar anytime soon and we don’t have any spring weddings. Maybe I’ll just turn up to the grocery store in this? Who says you can’t be really fancy when stocking up on produce and coffee creamer?

  2. I absolutely love that dress! It’s so different and the color is so eye-catching. Do you mind me asking how tall you are? I’m 5’0 and would love to keep an eye out in case in comes back in stock but I’m worried it would be too long on me.
