You guys, I have a major sneaker problem. I can’t stop wearing them– with everything, from last week’s sweatshirt and ripped jeans combo to olive leather leggings in today’s post.

Would this blazer + pair of leather leggings work with pumps? Absolutely. But there was something NYC-street-style-esque about slipping on black Roshe Run sneakers instead. A bold crystal statement necklace is a nice contrast against the gym vibe of the shoe, right? I’m digging it.

In between bouts of winter weather, Kansas City has been warming up enough to shoot sans coat. Could it be– is spring on the way? Please, seasonal gods and that stupid groundhog, let it be so! I’m ready for warm weather + spring blooms.

  8. i’m a sneakers before heels (and sandals before sneakers and boots i just love) kinda gal. it’s such a quick/simple way to make a stylish outfit seem casual 🙂 oh, and bonus points for being comfy!

  20. Stupid groundhog is right… let’s hope that little jerk is wrong this year 🙂 I think the shoes are perfection with this–it’s a touch of unexpected, which I absolutely love.

  22. I have wanted to try leather leggings for a long time but am worried about how it would look on me. Actually I am worried if I’ll look like a mutton dresses as a lamb, not a good look. LOL!

    That olive leather leggings look really chic on you and it goes so well with the sneakers too! Might just hit the store this weekend and see if I can find an appropriate leather leggings for myself.
