Leather (both faux and real) is a huge fall/winter trend. I found this super affordable pleated number at ASOS and started dreaming up ways to work it into the wardrobe. Bought the skirt a size up to take advantage of added length, which meant I could wear it to the office. (I love a mini as much as the next girl, but you cannot rock those in your average 9-5.)
A simple cream blouse (tucked in to give the look some shape), a spiked necklace, and classic nude pumps (also seen here and here) round things out. And for good cheerleader measure: a high ponytail.

Happy almost-weekend, everyone. With low temperatures dipping consistently into the 40s and 50s here in Kansas City, my weekend plans include starting to roll my closet over from Super Summer to Yep, Finally Fall.
