Vintage Blazer + Concho Belt.

First of all, don’t mind me for doing that cliché blogger thing where I’m clearly outside without a coat in the freezing tundra that is my front porch– I am not trying to convince you I walk around town like this; it was all for the sake of documenting the outfit. I needed something cool for my latest stint on Better KC (watch my segment right here), so I reached for a vintage men’s Brooks Brothers blazer (my best thrift store find to date), a concho belt, and a new pair of ankle boots to dress up a really simple pair of skinnies + a v-neck tee. 90’s vibe, am I right?

This belt is super 90s and ridiculous, so naturally I’m in love with it. Works now with denim (worn with a tee tucked in to give a moms jeans sorta vibe) and will be killer over breezy chiffon maxi dresses in the spring.

I went inside and put my coat on the second we finished this shoot, I promise.

    1. I definitely ran inside and bundled up, haha! 🙂 And yes ma’am- blazers are a great addition to a basic outfit. Thanks for swinging by, Kate!

  1. I love this outfit, it’s nice and simple but perfectly put together! I’m also a tad jealous of the snow, we’ve had the tiniest bit here and it didn’t settle at all 🙂 xx

  2. I do find it funny when you see bloggers outside in the snow in skyscraper heels 😉 Anyway I love the concho belt, they never go out of fashion

  3. LOL I’m totally guilty of that too–but the coat would just cover up the whole look, and we can’t have that, right? That blazer is an awesome find and the belt is the icing on the cake! I’m so with you that it will also look fantastic with a maxi dress come spring.
