Basic black jeans and a sweater with some serious flatforms.

A fall afternoon in Kansas City and a lightweight (faux) suede jacket are a match made in heaven. I loaded up on black basics– a deep v-neck sweater and high-waisted jeans– to give the jacket more air time. The real star of the show, though? A pair of crazy brogue flatforms from that take me from 5’5″ to a solid 5’11”.

These flatforms are pretty major, both in style and in height. More 90’s goodness, that’s for sure. I can’t wait to wear these with dresses and tights; they’ll be a punky alternative to a heeled sandal with holiday dresses.

  1. Babe, this outfit is anything but basic!!! I’ve bought four pairs of flatforms earlier this year and thus far, have only worn one GRIN they’re just not me. I feel. Yeah. But they look amazing on you. So there.
