Since purchasing these gems about a month ago, I’ve been wearing them nonstop. They work at the office, for more casual looks like I’m wearing today, or even dressed up with skinny ankle-length trousers and a crisp button up. I love outfits like these– casual at their core, but elevated enough to work in a variety of venues. These fur mules got packed in the suitcase to Austin last weekend; they worked perfectly with just about everything I packed. Ashley, I love this outfit so much! That cardigan is fabulous and the mules are spot on. So I have a funny story about the fur lined mules…I got a pair of rose gold ones last year for $13! My favorite shoes ever. I was wearing them in L.A. last year and was asked by a sales associate in a designer shoe store if they were the Gucci slides. Now I must explain that she asked this question with awe in her voice, her jaw dropped, and her eyes all aglow. When I replied, “Nope. They were $13. I guess the joke’s on Gucci!” She didn’t think it all that funny that she was duped by my designer dupes! Ha.
