A breezy summer linen maxi with leather accents.

We’ve been blessed by the cold front gods and are enjoying some seriously gorgeous weather in KC right now. The lower heat and humidity means it’s the perfect time to break out a long maxi dress. This printed linen maxi is from Victoria’s Secret is both super cute and comfortable. (VS longer sells non-athlesiure clothing, which is such a shame because they had some killer stuff.) This dress is one of those no-undergarments-required numbers, which speaks to me on a spiritual level because shapewear + a strapless bra in the summer sun is not my idea of a good time.

I wore this linen maxi with studded gladiator sandals and a belt looped at the waist to cinch things in– love this Linea Pelle version because it has belt holes all the way around, which means you can wear it high, low, at the waist, at the hip, etc. Major belt bang for your buck.

I plan on bringing this linen maxi to Vegas this weekend, where some friends are getting married. An outdoor wedding ceremony in the desert definitely calls for all the breezy stops! In the meantime, let the packing frenzy begin.

  13. Ok moment of silence for VS not selling clothes anymore… I have so many great tops, dresses, and shoes from their old line. And now they’re not selling bathing suits anymore either! This dress is fabulous on you, perfect for a break in the summer humidity and a Vegas wedding. Have an amazing trip <3

    1. The cooler weather is so nice- but the humidity is definitely back today after all that rain, ha. VS used to have amaaaazing clothes- seriously, so good.

  29. The print on the dress is so pretty and I love the muted colors. I also really like how you added the belt. We are getting some cooler temps in St. Louis finally and I have been loving it (except today it’s raining).

    1. I’m so glad for a little break from the hot weather- definitely not ready for summer to end JUST yet, but a little cooler weather is always nice. 🙂
