Outfit Idea: Neutral Blazer + Lace Blouse.

This easy, all-year outfit centers around a gorgeous lace blouse.

As much as I love shopping for a new season and rotating one seasonal wardrobe for another, there’s something to be said for wear-all-year outfits. Take this white lace blouse, for instance. On the surface, it might seem summer-oriented, but when you pair it with a neutral blazer and faded black jeans, you’ve got yourself a chic fall outfit.

I’m wearing a pair of gray sandals (you’ve seen ’em before) because early fall is still warm enough for exposed toes. These help the look stay transitional.

I am always adding to my blazer collection, and this kinda-nude-sorta-blush draped version was a pretty find. It will work through the winter as part of office-based outfits or dressing up a blouse (like I’ve done here). But it’ll also be super cute thrown over a spring dress or a summer tank next year.

I like the way the girliness of the lace blouse works with the toughened-up and faded denim. The blazer and sandals are timeless, but the backpack is quite trendy. A good mix, all around!
