The key to late spring outfitting in Kansas City: lightweight layers. You can add more if you need coverage/warmth, and peel ’em off once the afternoon warms up. Also a must-have right now: these striped sandals from Dolce Vita. I love the cool knotted striped fabric, the rounded rattan heel, and the height is perfect for all-day wear.
I’m back in olive green, too– how pretty is this floaty vest? I scored both this vest and dress at local KC fave, Kindred Shops. I’m in total spring + summer mode, so I’m looking for all the super cute rompers, dresses, and statement pieces that will round out that warm-weather wardrobe.

What is everyone up to this weekend? My boyfriend and I have some yard work planned– the yearly mulch refresh in the various gardens– and then I have a Beauty Brands appointment with Steph for a hair refresh. I can’t believe it’s Memorial Day weekend; the unofficial summer kick off. May absolutely flew by! We’ll be celebrating the 4th of July before we know it.
