Neon orange is anything but basic right now.
Happy Cinco de Mayo! I’ve been swinging back and forth from dressing super neutral (like here and here) to going all out bright, like today in this neon orange t-shirt and sandals. There’s just something about a neon-anything that makes my 90s kid heart sing. And this outfit felt perfect to pair with a margarita for Cinco de Mayo.
This t-shirt was an absolute steal at under $12 and was a perfect match with a pair of ASOS sandals I snagged last summer. (You can get your neon sandal fix here and here.)
Until this post, I hadn’t slipped on a pair of jeans in at least a few months, so it was a touch-and-go situation as to if these much-loved Levi’s would even fit. (They did, bless!) But man, did it feel weird to wear jeans– especially a classic non-stretch pair. I did love the combo of the roughed-up, faded-out denim with the super loud neon orange.
Gold accents: a choker, a few chunky gold rings (love this one and this one), and classic Ray-Bans finished things off with an easy summertime spin.

This neon orange tee would be fun layered under a strappy summer dress (think something bright white or maybe chambray). It’s also a slam dunk with jean or bike shorts. The sandals are perfect as the standalone neon item in an outfit, but I love the matchy-matchy motif here, too.
