I don’t know about you guys, but I’m all about stretchy, roomy clothing after Thanksgiving. All the leggings while I ride out that sage sausage stuffing high, please. And what is more festive than this bright red plaid poncho? It’s a steal for $36. This outfit combines for a cozy, go-anywhere outfit dialed up on holiday cheer. Two-tone riding boots from a few seasons back (super similar pair here) keep my legs warm and are a comfortable option for running errands or doing some holiday shopping. I love this red plaid poncho for so many reasons: a) it feels like a snuggly blanket, b) it’s actually really easy to wear, and c) it can be worn almost anywhere. It goes on date nights, to more casual holiday parties, and even the office. If your office is a no-leggings-zone (ugh, HR), pair it with skinny jeans or a pair of cigarette trousers. Swap the tall boots for a classic pump in red or black, or wear with an ankle boot. Lots of options.

It’s only Wednesday, but I’m already looking forward to the weekend. Is it me or are the work weeks dragging? Maybe I’m still on Thanksgiving time (or that tryptophan hasn’t quite worn off and I’m still in turkey slo-mo).
