Eye-catching prints are always fun, but especially in a more traditional piece like a pencil skirt. I scored this graphic print version as part of the Peter Pilotto for Target collection a few months back, but am only now finally getting around to working it onto the blog. (Shame on me, really.)
Since there is so much going on with the print, I kept the top minimal with a halter cut sweater crop. Normally this top is Tummy City, but the higher waist of the skirt means everything stays covered. I went easy on the jewelry and strappy with the shoe– a color block sandal works in a pop of green to compliment the bit of green in the skirt.
As you can see, I’m super in bright borderline-neon lipsticks lately. ‘Tis the season? I’m wearing Finale in this post; pick it up here. (Oooh, drugstore score!)

This skirt is SO YOU. I love it!
Thanks. Olivia! I saw it and had to have it. 🙂
I’ve been looking for a sweater crop like this! Great find! Looks amazing with that skirt!
Jenna from Visions of Vogue
Thanks, babe! Loving the halter + crop combo right now, too. 🙂
That skirt is so you. Those arms, give me. Also only you would have the perfect shoe to match that skirt.
Gorgeous, Ashley!
I love the sandals with the skirt- not too much, but definitely adds a little more fun! What a cool print. 🙂

Love the cut of the halter top, it is so flattering! and the coral lips look so good! I have got to get into this coral, it looks so fresh!
You should definitely give it a try- plus the one I’m wearing is Revlon, so way easy on the wallet. 🙂
Love that skirt! I’m only now getting around to wearing one of my pieces from there too – blame it on the weather 🙂
Right?! I still have 2 dresses to work in, as well. Oy vey- winter was long!
I would like those arms as well 😉 And the ability to apply my lipstick perfectly like you do!

Thanks, Darcy! The little green strap caught my eye, too. 🙂
I think now is the perfect time to break out that skirt and it looks great paired with the nude & neon heels. I thought the Peter Pilotto brand at Target had some of the most amazing patterns too. 🙂

I just love that skirt! The solid shirt and green strappy sandal really compliment it well. And it’s a perfect spring outfit because it’s work appropriate!

I really like that you went with a simple (but so cute) sweater here, rather than a competing pattern. It’s still bold but it’s not “all the things” which I love! 😀
As usual, you’re showing up my office attire. Ha!
Adore this on you! Your arms- seriously what is your routine, girl! You are rocking it!
Pshhh, you flatter me. 🙂
Another home run, love this Ashley.
You look awesome, girl! I love that it’s a crop top but you can’t see “tummy city” hahahaha, because it means you can wear it in a wider range of places.
Exactly my thought, Samantha! 🙂
Lookin gorg!
Ashley, I am loving this look! So gorgeous and I am loving your hair in makeup!
Madly in love with the skirt. Love this look!
Thanks so much, Lisa! 🙂
Great detail choices here, Ashley. Shoes, nails, accessories- love it! Also loved your participation in Ada’s birthday post. That is so sweet (and so is she).

Thanks, Gina! Ada was sweet to think of me when gathering her list of guest bloggers! 🙂
That skirt is incredible! I love the print- so busy but super cute!
Awesome outfit!
Those sandals are so good- love!
Brave choice on that skirt- I LOVE IT ON YOU!
You get more gorgeous with each new post! I’m loving the colored lip on you! That skirt is fabulous. I’m kicking myself for not picking anything up from the collection!
Thank you so much, Olivia! You’re too sweet. 🙂
You are smoking hot head to toe. My Mom looked at 3 local Target stores to get me that Skirt I so loved but never found my size. I super love it, and your matchy heels too. I used to have some of those High-neck Halter Sweaters too a few years ago and got rid of them (wish I didn’t). I am trying (for my first time ever) a Cropped Sweater with a High-waisted Skirt though. It will be on the blog on Thursday. And I got some special, new pieces to feature on the blog tomorrow, too.
Thanks for letting me know the color and brand of that lipstick too because I love it. And especially Thank You for being part of my Birthday Post. Did you like the post? =) Let me know.
Such a great outfit, Ashley! Sassy at the office!
I love the way the green in the skirt picks up the green in the sandals and vice versa! Cool look!
I absolutely love you in a bright lip! You should exclusively wear neon lipstick because you look awesome in it! Me, on the other hand, not so much. Haha!
So pretty!
I am loving these outside posts, Ashley! Lovely light and your outfits really pop!
Omgsh how cute are you–and I was giggling when yous said that shirt is usually tummy city 🙂 LOVE this look and the print on the skirt is fabulous. And thanks for sharing a great drug store lipstick find–def. going to pick some up!
