Glastonbury Coat.

The Brits do a few things really well, and one of them is looking cozy-yet-chic while in the middle of a rainy, muddy field for a music festival like Glastonbury. Which is exactly what sprang to mind when I saw this lightweight + longer length coat from ASOS. Was it a rain coat? A light fall jacket? A great layering piece? All of the above, friends. For a cool cloudy day in KC, it was perfect over a striped H&M sweater, skinny dark gray jeans, and a pair of much-loved riding boots I picked up in London (speaking of the Brits). And this Glastonbury coat is olive green– imagine that.

This Glastonbury coat is going to make for a great layering piece when we start getting really chilly in KC; I’ll be able to wear bulky sweaters + scarves underneath no problem. Right now, it’s really good for those blustery days when I need something to cut the wind and look cool over tall boots.

  1. I love your Glastonbury coat and that striped sweater, Ashley. You made a great point about the Brits, but you have some French in you today too, with those stripes. =)

  2. That jacket has just the perfect amount of slouch, and I love the olive color. (Olive it? Har.) You know I’m a fan of the stripes too, you look cozy and cute!

  3. Ohh love that jacket! Looks like the perfect weight. And that sweater is too cute. You know I am a sucker for anything striped!

  4. I am looking for a new coat. Also, I have been thinking about that H&M sweater – I did a post about it the other day. Now, that I see – I just might order it. Have a great weekend.
