A few blogger babe pals of mine all decided to ban together and show off our favorite closet staples. First up: our favorite spring + summer shoe.
With Memorial Day behind us, the train to summer is full speed ahead. So what shoe to pair with those mini skirts and tank tops?
For me, it’s the calf-hair leopard pump. It’s not your average summer sandal (although don’t get me wrong, I am forever in love with a gladiator). I’ve been loving the leopard pump for a while now with jeans and trousers (and even overalls), but am discovering how cool this shoe can be with spring and summer pieces.
Below I paired the pumps with a simple white tank and an embroidered mini skirt. (I am completely obsessed with the high neck tank from ASOS– I have it in black and white and it gets so much play in my summer wardrobe. It’s the perfect laid back top to bring in a cool vibe with everything from skinnies to skirts.) A summer-esque statement necklace and that gorgeous cuff from the Courtney Loves Gorjana collection round out the jewelry, and what you end up with is an easy + breezy summer look with a bit of an edge.
