Because sometimes all-slouchy is the way to go.
As much as I love a pair of skinny jeans, there’s a special place in my heart for boyfriend jeans. They’re just so damn comfortable. I love the relaxed, “I just threw these on, who cares?” vibe a pair of slouchy denim give off. These Rag & Bones are an old fave (get this season’s version here), but I also love this super affordable pair.
Take those boyfriends and match ’em with a neutral, equally slouchy sweatshirt-style sweater (in the softest fabric!), and the whole mood gets super casual and lived-in.
Because I’m 5’5, a little height helps lengthen me out. Going all-over slouchy can make someone on the shorter side seem wider than she is, but a heel counteracts this effect. And because leopard is everywhere these days (I’m here for it), an animal-printed pump is the perfect choice. Stays in my neutral lane but also adds some punch.

I’ve worn this sweater several ways so far: with boyfriend jeans and pumps as you see here, but also with a pair of trousers for my 9-5. I think it would also work layered over a midi skirt (or a slip dress!) with sneakers for a girly + snuggly fall outfit. That cream color both works with everything and hits on that utilitarian trend I’ve been a fan of recently. (Don’t forget you can snag this same sweater in black!)
