Back in blush and some classic 501s.
First of all, happy first day of spring! Remixing is the name of the game, even for a fashion blogger with a shopping problem. (Ahem.) You last saw this blush turtleneck as part of a super sassy + girly transitional outfit, and these 501s were first spotted as part of my ode to the Brat Pack. Tucking the turtleneck in gives a bodysuit vibe, and beige suede ankle boots elevate the look + lengthen that leg line. (Short girls, unite!) The polished turtleneck and booties play really well with the roughed-up + washed-out denim, no? I love the overall lighter color palette, too– it definitely hints that spring is on the way (even if it was 35° when we shot this look).

It’s interesting how classic denim is making a comeback; I’ve been a fan of stretchy + skinny jeans for ages now, but these no-stretch straight-legged 501s definitely bring a completely different feel to an outfit. There is a breaking in period with classic jeans; you certainly have to put in a little work at first to get ’em molded to your body. (This sounds labor-intensive; really it just means finding the right size that fits now but will also fit once the denim gives a bit after weeks of wear.) I sized up a wee bit here; after I break ’em in they will have just a bit more slouch through the hips and waist, which is a-okay with me.

Wow, you have the sexiest body! Man you look good in that outfit. Need to rock that more. Amazing thighs too!
