Blush Cardigan + Cream Culottes.

Springtime neutrals that work from March to May, including a cardigan.

We’re going neutral this week, pals. The cardigan is back in a big way this spring, with lots of options in colors, weight, and style. I’m loving the idea of a cardigan worn buttoned up as a top (no base layer needed). This light blush cardigan is the perfect first piece in an all-neutral spring outfit.

Next piece? A pair of cream culotte jeans with a frayed hem and a high waist. Remember those white skinnies we wore in springs and summers past? This is an updated version of that (and a little easier to wear, in my opinion). These culottes have a bit of stretch (so nice!) and work well with a pair of rose gold loafers. A little metallic touch adds some jazz and helps set off the gold jewelry I layered on.

I like how this outfit is light and feels spring-ish, but it actually provides somewhat of a windbreak for cooler, breezier spring days. It’s also a total tonal win– there’s just something about a monochrome vibe that feels so chic! These cream culottes will be super cute with silky camisoles and strappy sandals come June, and I bet I’ll keep this cardigan around for chilly spring and summer evenings. It’s nice to have several lightweight sweaters on hand this time of year. Lots of ways to remix and reuse these pieces well past Mother’s Day.
