Downtown KC in an all-black outfit.
There’s something badass about all-black, right? A pair of high-waisted black skinnies and a black leather jacket are my soul sisters, and then I added in this pretty-but-still-black blouse from H&M. (You can find similar versions here and here.) All-black outfit goodness!
This look was the second part of my shoot with David Sosna– you might recognize some of these locations from this video he created. It was a hot, muggy (please look at the size of my hair) evening in KC, but we had a fall vibe in the city mood in mind.

If you need a new leather jacket to add to your fall repertoire, I highly suggest this one by Blank NYC. It’s actually faux (making it under $100) but you can’t even tell, it’s that good! It also comes in a pretty deep green and a go-with-anything taupe. The hood is detachable, too. Very nice score!
Amazon has also restocked these mules (they come in black, too!) and I love ’em. You’ve seen them with a summer sundress, and they are equally cute with frayed-hem denim.
