All-black everything with a choker blouse.

I jumped pretty hard on the choker bandwagon (still on it, thanks very much), but only recently picked up this cool black choker blouse. I love the versatility of this style– you can wear it anywhere. It works just as easily with a pencil skirt at the office (top it with a blazer or a leather jacket) as it does with jeans. Both the choker blouse and jeans I’m wearing here are from H&M (fast fashion for the win!) for a very budget-friendly outfit. (The top is just $35 and the jeans are only $20.) All-black was the name of the game, so black patent leather pumps punctuated the look.

I love how while I wore this outfit for date night, it can really go anywhere: dressed down with flats for brunch, to the office with a blazer over the top, with some punchy accessories for girl’s night out, etc. I’m going to keep my eye out for more choker blouses– the choker obsession continues for me.
