Agolde Cutoffs + Gingham Heels.

Test-driving the Agolde cutoffs and falling a pair of gingham heels.

I’m  a sucker for denim cutoffs (if you’ve been following the blog for any length of time, you know this). Agolde is a denim line whose cutoffs are making a quite a splash this summer; they’re cut a bit longer than your average jean shorts, which make ’em more wearable. (Not that I’m opposed to showing Maximum Leg, but there are times when more coverage is necessary.) So what does your girl do? Wear these cutoffs with a pair of dainty gingham heels (from Public Desire, go get ’em!) to make a statement. Naturally. A swingy black tank and cool aviators round things out: summer night on the town? I’m dressed and ready.

While I’m going balls to the wall (legs?) by wearing these cutoffs with gingham heels, you can easily dress ’em down. They look just as cute with flat leather sandals or sneakers, so feel free to mix it up. Up top ideas: a slouchy summer sweater, button-up, or breezy t-shirt. I also think they’d be killer with a pair of ankle boots and a blazer (a style fave of mine).

What is everyone up to this weekend? I’ll be recording with the Can City podcast fellas tomorrow afternoon; this is my first foray into the world of podcasting, so we’ll see how it goes. I’ll be sure to link it here when it’s live so you guys can listen!

  1. I LOVE this outfit! It’s perfect for Summer, and it’s definitely something I would wear. While the heels are really cute, I hardly ever wear them (for comfort reasons), so I would go with flip flops. The shades also give it a nice touch.
