Summer has settled in, so the name of the game is staying breezy. This yellow striped maxi dress was a perfect choice for a steamy Friday evening out with friends. There isn’t much to this dress, but because it’s a maxi the illusion of coverage is nice.

A lightweight maxi dress is the perfect no-fuss summer #ootd that packs a style punch. This yellow stripe throughout does the heavy lifting for me; I just focused on accessories.

The standout piece is this Wyeth straw hat in a classic summer-on-the-sea white. I layered on a simple coin necklace and a pair of shell earrings, then stuck with the usual Garmin and green agate wrist situation. A pair of mixed media flat sandals worked in a little extra color (this season’s version here).
