A tweed jacket adds some polish and keeps you cozy for fall.
A jacket with a bit of heft is a nice addition to your fall wardrobe for those crisp October afternoons. I like this tweed jacket just for that purpose– tweed is a heavier fabric so it provides warmth, but it’s not too bulky. This multicolored tweed jacket is perfect for adding some interest over a basic white blouse, especially with a sharp pair of blue suede pumps.
The brilliant part about an outfit like this is that it’s quite polished, but at the end of the day, you’re still in jeans. You can wear this to the office (if your office is denim-tolerant); just swap out the distressed version for a clean-cut version if your HR looks down on ripped knees. (Classic HR– spoiling all the fun.)

How else to wear a piece like this tweed jacket? It would be killer with a pair of tailored cigarette trousers (like these) if you wanted to go the dressier route. (Talk about the perfect office outfit!) I also like the idea of it over an LBD (something knee-length, classic-cut, and fitted). And come spring, I dig the super feminine vibe of the jacket with a pair of cutoff denim shorts.
