The Ashley White Parade of Stupid Boots continues, you guys. First it was these pinkish perforated numbers, and now it’s a pair of over-the-knee heeled Sam Edelman Rylan boots. I am out of control. But I swear by a silly, outrageous shoe; they can completely change an outfit. Take this gray sweater + skinny jeans combo, for example. Super simple, easy, classic. It should also look familiar: I wore it last with lace-ups and a statement coat. Yet a bold shoe causes you to gloss over the fact I’m essentially wearing the same outfit. Fashion deception, I like it.

And who knew a pair of loud boots would blend in so seamlessly with my landscaping? Functional ninja camoflauge boots! Can’t wait for spring + lots of green to provide a better back drop, but I’m not stressing– these Sam Edelman Rylan boots are seriously too good to be true: neutral print, comfy stacked heel, but a bold overall look.   13. I love your statement-making shoes!! And you’re right, I never would have known this is an outfit repeat (not that there’s anything wrong with that, I’m a frequent repeater myself) because of those shoes! So fun.

    1. I think it’s cool to show different ways to outfit repeat but add in some fresh elements on the blog. Dressing up basics is a best trick! 🙂
