Teddy Bear Coat + Sneakers.

A teddy bear coat as functional fashion.

March is the perfect time of year to start transitioning from those heavy parkas to lighter weight jackets. I love this teddy bear coat because while it’s not exactly winter-ready, it’s definitely super cozy. (Exact coat here and here in black, but I also love this one, too.) You remember this sweater, right? I styled it more casually here with jeans (love this pair from Gap; so classic and can be dressed up or down) and sneakers.

I was so grateful to slip into this teddy bear coat– just before, we were shooting this look (sweater remix!) from last week and it was so windy and cold. I was miserable! But, you know– suck it up for the blog and all that jazz. It was heaven once I got to change and slip this coat on.

I’ve been wearing this teddy bear coat nonstop; because it’s not too bulky, it works as a cozy piece over joggers and a t-shirt at the house (think oversized housecoat). I’ve also been reaching for it as my jacket of choice to wear on the way into the office during the week. The pockets are handy, too– I can slip my phone, lip balm, and card holder in ’em and leave the purse at home, which is nice for impromptu date nights to the movies or our fave pizza place.

  1. You can never go wrong with a big comfortable jacket, especially for a good price, I love how you paired it with a pair of Stan Smith’s!
