More off-the-shoulder adventures.

My love affair with everything off-the-shoulder continues. I immediately loved this striped top when I spotted it on Storets (for under $100, nice). Really dig the girly spin on a classic blue + white striped button-up shirt. I love how the swingy, floaty cut lends a more feminine feel. Showing off the shoulder? The icing on the style cake. I used this striped top to dress up a pair of basic denim shorts, added brown wedges for some height, and a pair of ridiculously big + mirrored aviators for a little shine. The result: a fun outfit perfect for those upcoming 4th of July festivities, complete with a little hint of blue to keep with tradition.

One of the best things about a striped top with some swing is the ability to have a burger + some margaritas at your 4th of July barbecue and not immediately display your food baby. Also love the idea of this striped top as a swim suit cover-up; it would turn into a cute mini-dress with just a hint of your bathing suit bottoms.

  9. This is such a cute top! And I love your sandals! I’ve tried on tops that hang lower like this around the arms, and they are not flattering on me…I have droopy shoulders and it accentuates so much more, this looks great on you though!

  14. This is such the perfect 4th of July outfit! I love outfits for the 4th that aren’t too overtly red, white and blue and can easily be carried through the summer and this is exactly that. Happy 4th Ashley!

  48. Love the top! I can definitely see it being perfect for a July 4th picnic or something like that. And mirrored sunglasses are so fun to wear. You basically have a mirror with you whenever you need it.
