A swingy sweater dress with Spanx leggings and tough booties.

Tired of the jeans-and-a-sweater routine yet? I get super weary of my sweater collection as winter rolls along, so mixing in a sweater dress here and there helps keep my wardrobe feeling fresh. I love this gray sweater dress for its fun cold-shoulder feature and major swing. I layered those killer Spanx leggings (last seen with another sweater something here) under the dress with a pair of much-loved Zara booties (old, but here are super similar versions 1, 2, and 3) for a chic winter look that easily goes from the office to happy hour.

I love this sweater dress because you can dress it up or down. I’ve gone the more dressed up route here, but you could easily pair this with basic black leggings, slipper flats or tall flat boots, and loop an oversized scarf on over the top for a cozier + more casual look.

  25. What a great look, girlfriend! I just bought some black leggings – held off forever, because I just don’t like the look on me. But, they go so well in frigid weather under dresses. After seeing this post, I realize that I’m going to have to whip out my faux leather leggings for the same purpose!
