Shades of Green.

Olive green is becoming a neutral for me. I no longer worry about pairing it with the safe sure-thing colors like brown and beige, but I wear it just as I would denim or khaki.

Skinny trousers in the aforementioned olive green serve as the base here, with a floaty hunter green top layered under a blazer. Gunmetal gray studded slipper flats are easy 9-5 shoes with some sass, and a sparkly statement necklace dresses it all up a bit.

It’s like I’m willing spring out of hibernation by wearing green-on-green, no? Fingers crossed it works. I’m bored of winter (especially after all the the snow we’ve had recently). Ready for chiffon, bright florals, and lots of warm sunshine!

  1. I love this combo! I never would’ve considered army green to be a neutral, but it really works as one. Great post!

  2. I love this look!

And that necklace is stunning. Good choice on wearing your hair up to showcase it! 🙂

Hope you have a good weekend!

  3. I love the color of your top! I would have never thought to pair it with olive but it looks great. I think I need some olive skinnies now!

Olive green is my second favorite color (Maroon=#1), so I’m thrilled to see that you consider it a neutral. I don’t even know if I’ve embraced the color to this extent. I could definitely take a page out of your styling book.

Love your ponytail here too! The way you wear it high and split it like tha tmake sme want to try the same thing ASAP.

You’re so fricken pretty, and your dimples are like – maybe the best things ever.
    Super jealous.
Glad I found your blog 🙂
