Upping the sweater + denim game with mules and layered necklaces.

Welcome to December: where sweater-based outfits take over and we’re all checking the forecast for snow. I love this gorgeous red and black sweater from Express (a few seasons old, shop similar here and here). The circle hem is a cute feature and looks perfect with high-waisted denim. I grabbed a pair of leather mules and looped on a lariat choker (such a good buy from Shopbop) with a gold layered necklace from BaubleBar. The accessories bring a little something extra, while the base of the outfit is easy + cozy.

My sweater arsenal is pretty extensive, but printed versions like this shake things up from the typical cable knit. I’m sure come February I’ll be beyond sick and tired of everything sweater-based, but for now it’s nice to bundle up– especially in something so holiday-friendly.
