Pumpkin spice everything to kick off fall (weather).

While it’s technically been fall for several weeks now, fall weather only just arrived in KC. I celebrated by grabbing all of the pumpkin spice things Ruby Rouge had to offer at Kindred Shops and crafted the cutest little early fall outfit from them. This sweater is just about the softest thing ever and I love the little eyelash detail. Perfectly slouchy and snuggly without being so oversized you lose your shape. I layered it over a very 90’s rust-colored grid print dress. Those tall boots from last week were the perfect compliment to the look; they provided coverage and rooted the outfit in October.

Kindred has all the fall goodies right now– super cozy sweaters, killer skirts and trousers in fall-friendly fabrics like denim and corduroy, and printed pieces that will warm up that wardrobe now that fall is really here. I spent so much time sifting through the color-coordinated racks; there was so much to see!

    1. I hear you- it was cool when I shot this, then went back to being in the 80s, now today it’s only going to get in the 50s. Fall is trying to wrestle summer!

  36. YAS to pumpkin everything! Fall is my favorite season so all of these pretty, deep colors are giving me life: mustard, olive, maroon, and PUMPKIN! Love this cozy, slouchy sweater!

  43. Oh my gosh I am DYING for that sweater! The perfect fall color, the perfect amount of fuzziness! And you’ve styled it so nicely over that plaid mini with the high boots – super cute!

    It’s still not “fall weather” here but at least I’m not sweating through MOST days!
