Well, that’s a lie. I’m still totally here for overalls; I bought the Madewell versions and have been wearing them everywhere since (a wine walk with my girlfriends, to the office, around the house). What do I love about these bad boys? There’s quite a bit of stretch to the skinny fit, which means they flatter without sacrificing comfort. The sides also come up a touch higher than other pairs in my closet, which means I don’t have to worry about my t-shirt coming untucked. (The horror.)

I cuffed the hem and grabbed some office-friendly staples: a striped blazer and pointed-toe flats to add a little polish to these weekend-vibe overalls. Great outfit for a casual Friday at the office, no? Transitions well to a happy hour patio or out to an early dinner with the girls.

I’m looking forward to dressing these overalls up for a night out (not my first time) with pumps or wedges. The trend is going strong in my closet.

  8. I wish I could rock overalls! I’ve tried several pairs on and I can’t seem to find a pair that fits these hamhocks of mine right. Ha! You look adorable in them and I love how you’d added a blazer!
