Olive Green + One Teaspoon.

Breaking out fall colors for late summer.

I’m a sucker for a solid pair of destroyed denim. The more rips and shreds, the better. While they’re not office-friendly, they add a fun + edgy element to a standard jeans-and-tee combo. These One Teaspoon Freebirds are a fave– the rips are really blown out (to full-stop holes, if we’re honest). I used them to show off a few of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale scores: a pair of whiskey suede lace-up ballet flats and a simple but super soft olive green t-shirt. Olive green is typically a fall color, but you can easily wear it now with denim. Same goes for deep tan (see also: chestnut, cognac). Pairing these pieces with shredded summery denim is a good way to work ’em in before the first frost.

One Teaspoon is well known for their shredded shorts, but don’t sleep on the full-length options. From their Awesome Baggies (same destroyed element, but more of a boyfriend fit) to these Freebirds, they’re a solid go-to when it comes to destroyed denim.
