Living in Liverpool LA lately.

Have you heard of Liverpool LA? I had not until they opened a pop-up shop at Oak Park Mall here in the KC area (it’s open until December 19th) and invited me for a preview of their line. Holy smokes, you guys: it’s baller. Classic but definitely on-trend, the fabrics are divine, with some of the best-fitting jeans I’ve tried on this fall.

I snagged this mustard denim jacket immediately. Hello, perfect fall color! It’s cropped, oh-so-soft, and has some stretch. Great for layering over a black lace top and a pair of the Liverpool Abby jeans. Mid-rise, classic wash, super skinny, with a ton of forgiving stretch that doesn’t bag out throughout the day. Perfection! I wore these with my new snakeskin booties– because at this point, anything snakeskin goes immediately in my shopping cart. I have zero snakeskin shame.

What I really love about these Liverpool jeans? The stretch. After a decadent Thanksgiving, who’s trying to wear anything except comfy, stretchy clothes?! Not me. Me and the perma-food baby are going to be hanging out in forgiving pieces like these killer jeans, thanks very much. They also run a tad big (I sized down one size but could probably have sized down two), which is always nice for the ego.

Kansas City, you must hit up the Liverpool pop-up (top level at Oak Park Mall, across from Sephora) as you do your holiday shopping! I snagged so many pieces that are quickly working their way into the heavy wardrobe rotation. Make sure you tell the gang hi from me if you do swing through!

  13. What a beautiful jacket! And I love that you’re wearing it over a lace top. I have several sleeveless lace tops in my closet that I’ve never really known what to do with. I think putting denim over them (colored or traditional) is just the perfect idea! The snake boots are beautiful and you look just gorgeous in the outfit!
