Leather Jacket + Cutoffs.

Labor Day may mark the unofficial end of summer, but the weather in KC is way too warm to embrace wool sweaters and pumpkin-spiced everything. However, those tank dresses and neon brights I wore earlier in the season don’t feel right either, so I’m working to add fall elements to summer pieces without breaking a sweat (figuratively and literally). This classic leather jacket has a cool biker babe vibe and gives a white tunic dress some fall appeal when worn tucked in with cutoff shorts. (You guys know I’m not ready to put my shredded denim up just yet, right?) Choosing a neutral lace-up flat over a summer sandal is another drop in the fall bucket.

How’s the weather where you are? Are you finding the seasonal switch easy to make, or tough to navigate? I’m definitely getting geared up for fall in terms of color and fabric choice, but definitely not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet.

  1. LOVE this. Seriously, new favorite of yours. Love the mix of classic and badass, plus the lace-up flats. I have got to get my paws on a pair of those this fall. Must.

  2. Leather jacket + cut offs is such a good combo. Perfect for slowly transitioning to fall! And I think I need that jacket…

  3. I’m not ready to put ANY summer things away haha. And surprisingly enough, it’s still not cool enough to even wear a leather jacket here. So until then, I’m still sporting my white dresses and sandals, fashion rules aside.

    p.s. I love this look!
