Holiday Gift Guide for Him.

Dads, boyfriends, and brothers need a little gift love too, am I right? (Thank you to the fellas who reached out via Twitter + text to shoot me some ideas! You were instrumental.)

Because shopping this time of year can be an absolute nightmare, you can buy everything below from the safety of your couch.

Need to get your mom, sister, and best friend squared away? Check out my gift guide for her.

Holiday Gift Guide for Him.

1. Ray Ban Classic Wayfarer Sunglasses ($150)
2. J.Crew Ludlow Vest (on sale!  Was $138, now $98)
3. Aldo Brownlie Wingtip Oxford Shoes ($99)
4. J.Crew Hestra Deerskin Ribbed Gloves ($85)
5. Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb ($85)
6. Polo Ralph Lauren Bifold Wallet ($85)
7. Eddie Bauer Favorite Flannel Shirt ($60)

I don’t pretend to run a men’s fashion blog, but I do a appreciate a boy who can put himself together. Consider the following investment pieces: a flannel shirt, a classic-cut vest, and a pair of oxfords. The flannel shirt is easy (and warm!), and plaid is huge right now (7). I love the navy color of this vest (2), and the fact it can be worn both to the office and with a simple solid t-shirt (just don’t also pair it with a fedora, boys). Same goes for the wingtip oxfords (3): dress ’em up or down with trousers or jeans.

The wayfarer is a classic style, and Ray-Ban is my favorite (1). They work on a variety of face shapes and aren’t too loud or flashy. A pair of gorgeous leather gloves will keep hands warm, and I love the rugged feel of these versions from J.Crew (4).

What guy doesn’t need a wallet upgrade every few years? This simple black leather wallet from Polo Ralph Lauren (6) is slim enough to fit neatly in the back pocket with enough room to hold more than just a $20.

Last but not least, a good cologne goes a long way in my book. Nothing like a boy who smells nice. I’m digging Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb (5); it has a tobacco base with some grapefruit, chili pepper, and cinnamon. So yum.

Happy shopping!

I did a guest post for my friend Darcy, a fellow Kansas City blogger, while she’s on vacation in Mexico this week. (Jealous!) I talk about giving your glam holiday looks just a bit of edge.

    1. Boys are sooo tough- wayyyy tougher than girls! At least we’re typically very open with exactly what we want! No guessing games. 🙂
