Babbleboxx helps you create a festival vibe as spring and concert season approaches.
Spring is just a few short days away– five to be exact if you’re counting– and that means festival season is nearly here. Time to start prepping! (If you’re going to Coachella, you’re only a month out!) Pull those cutoff shorts out of storage and start thinking about concert-friendly footwear, a hairstyle with staying power, and ramping up that skincare regimen so it can look its best in that festival sunshine.
Lucky for me, Babbleboxx is coming to the rescue with a box full of goodies to help me get in full-stop festival mode. (And, by proxy, in barbecue and patio mode.)
Zenni Sunglasses.
Nothing says festival quite like a fresh pair of statement sunglasses. I love these retro white frames from Zenni– what’s old is new again, and these throwback frames are equal parts fun and glamorous. What I love about Zenni is not only do they have a great selection of festival frames, but they are super affordable! Prices for sunglasses and eyeglasses start at just $6.95.
I am planning on rocking these shades with cutoffs, a white tee, and a pair of cute sneakers for a classic Americana look– c’mon, spring! I’m ready for you!
Algenist Power Recharging Night Pressed Serum.
My ideal concert face: a swipe of waterproof liner + mascara, tinted lip balm, and SPF. I don’t want to be wearing six pounds of foundation while I’m jumping around, singing, and dancing– but in order to go foundation-free, you have to have healthy + radiant skin.
You guys know how I feel about skin care; it’s a year-round priority for me. I love trying new products, so I was really excited to see this solid serum from anti-aging powerhouse Algenist included in the box. You heard me: a solid serum. This stuff stays solid until application, where it melts right into the skin and fights fatigue, dullness, and uneven texture with alguronic acid (naturally-sourced and sustainable!), coconut water, and algaprotein. And the smell! Oh my word, it’s divine. It just launched at Ulta if you want to snag yourself a jar.
LumaBella Keratin Dual Touch Styler.
What is your go-to hairstyle when you’ve got a concert on the books? I either go completely natural (beachy waves, lots of texture) or stick-straight. I’m either going to work with the humidity (option A) or block it out completely (option B). Super straight hair is on trend right now (think 70s Cher!), and this flat iron from LumaBella is exactly what I need to straighten my waves and make that style last.
The key to healthy straightening with the LumaBella styler is smarter tech: it detects the humidity level of the hair during styling and adjusts to its needs. If the heat is too high, the styler will adjust itself to protect the hair from breakage. After passing through that area, the tool will adjust back to the designated temp. Bonus: the ceramic plates are infused with keratin (a protein found naturally in the hair) to condition the hair without leaving behind a residue. Genius!
After straightening with the LumaBella styler, I know my hair will stand up to heat + humidity of a concert atmosphere. Cue the music!
Jockey Retro Stripe Collection.
The Jockey Retro Stripe Collection is bringing the 80s + 90s back! Jockey took those much-loved cotton styles from our childhood and gave them a slightly modern spin. Soft, easy-to-wear cotton that moves with you via this fun retro set. Waistbands that don’t dig; a bralette that wears all day.
I’m all about a cotton bralette because they’re just so comfy. And I’m definitely into that retro vibe. I would wear this classic white version with an oversized chambray, unbuttoned + knotted at the waist with a pair of high-rise denim. Easy, breezy!
Earth Shoes Tangor Sneakers.
I cannot resist a good sneaker, that’s for sure– but comfortable footwear is so key at a festival. You’re going to be on your feet all day (and jumping! And dancing!) so this is not the time for heels or sandals that don’t provide support. I scored these Tangor sneakers from Earth Shoes as part of this Babbleboxx (my exact color is Black Soft Leather, fyi), and they are so comfy.
Earth Shoes are built with wellness in mind; the footbeds feature heel-to-toe cushioning and legitimate arch support (hello, these were made for concert days!) without sacrificing style. I love the perforated leather– these would be perfect worn with a floaty spring dress or maybe a tank + long kimono combo.
This box was such a fun one to open, and I cannot wait to break these pieces in!
